w3schools often provides incomplete information for web developers. I prefer to see every option available to me on a specific CSS/HTML property when I search for it.
They’ve gotten better throughout the years and have some decent playgrounds, but MDN is my go to source and i’d rather filter w3schools out so they don’t rank higher than what would actually help me learn.
For many beginners, W3Schools has structured tutorials and playgrounds that offer a decent learning experience. However, it would be a mistake to continue your education without learning from more reputable sources, so when you’re ready to level up, move on.
